Customization of Kayak Paddle Grips by Using Reverse Engineering, Computer Aided Design and Additive Manufacturing Tools

Abstract In this paper, due to the importance of maintaining a secure grip with control hand in kayaking, simple three phase process is presented for massive development personalized grips which allow improvement handgrip. This consists obtaining 3D geometry paddler's handgrip by using Reverse Engineering (RE) tools, designing from obtained Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and manufacturing Additive Manufacturing (AM) tools. Therefore, paper shows that RE, CAD AM available today customization products many applications.
